8 Most Bitter Moments In CM Punk And WWE's Feud

1. "It's Fake"

Since joining UFC, CM Punk hasn't talked much about his WWE past other than to reiterate the fact that he has no interest or desire to return to professional wrestling. That hasn't stopped him from dishing out the odd insult of course! For starters, he's pretty much burned any bridges he had left at WWE by saying that his fellow wrestlers who at one time or another expressed an interest in heading into the Octagon, "have their little comfortable safety net doing WWE stuff." There's definitely going to be a lot of his former colleagues hoping to see him fail when he first fights after that remark! Perhaps the worst thing Punk has said about the company (which a lot of fans also found disappointing and upsetting) is in regards to the product being fake. That's obviously not a shocker to any of us who are over 10 years of age, but it's the way he said it which stings. "What does it mean to be a good fake wrestler? It doesn€™t matter if you€™re the best; someone else picks who they want in the top spot." There's obviously an element of truth in that, but completely dismissing the product by comparing it to UFC and discounting the hard work of those who rise to the top in the WWE because of their amazing work in the ring is an unnecessarily harsh insult, and a sign perhaps that his bitterness towards the company isn't going to disappear any time soon!
