With his victory in the main event, Roman Reigns set up the inevitable WrestleMania match between him and Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. His pinfall on Dean Ambrose was of the utmost importance because, in doing so, he preserved a potential big money match against Brock Lesnar. Reigns and The Beast have unfinished business dating back to last year's Showcase of the Immortals and Sunday's bout did nothing to settle their differences. If anything, it intensified them. With both Superstars heading their separate ways for this year's event, WWE can keep them apart before bringing them back together for another high-profile singles bout, perhaps at SummerSlam or as late as Survivor Series. The finish also lays the groundwork for another match between Reigns and Ambrose. The Lunatic Fringe has been beaten twice now by a guy he considers his brother, the other coming at last November's Survivor Series. The consummate underdog who always has something to prove, Ambrose could easily call back the previous losses while setting up a potential WWE title match later in 2016. While Reigns' win may have infuriated fans who hate the idea of him main eventing the biggest show of the year, it was the smart move for the sake of WWE's future.
