3. Bayley Reveals Her Next Move

Corey Graves posed some tricky questions for Bayley during a sit down interview on RAW this week.

Graves brought up Bayley's apparent willingness to "go to the extreme" in her Kendo Stick On A Pole match with Alexa Bliss at Extreme Rules last week. He then questioned why she stuttered when it came to it. "What happened?"

"That match is designed to inflict pain, right?" she offered. Isn't every match designed to inflict pain? Even in WWE, with its safe style, the object is to at the very least wind your opponent long enough to achieve a three count. "I've never been in a match like that. I've never been in a situation like that." It was less than two years ago that Bayley tried to break Sasha Banks' hand at the close of TakeOver: Respect's main event.

"I'm not here to put bruises on people's backs," she followed up. Her finishing move, the Bayley to Belly, doesn't land her opponents on their faces. Dropping the pedantic facade for a moment, you can sort of see that WWE is promoting Bayley as some sort of wrestling purist - it's just completely stupid and undermines the wronged hero seeks bloody revenge deal that has served wrestling well for damn near an entire century.

The interview ended in particularly awkward fashion. Bayley wanted to end the interview "on a hug". She reached for Graves and started to stroke his back. "Just rubbing your back," she said in a husky whisper. "Felt good, right?" she said. Apparently so; Graves needed a cigarette afterwards.

If you don't want to be a wrestler, love...
