4. Tom Pritchard

To a great many wrestling fans, Tom Pritchard is probably best remembered as a 'Zip', a member of the mid-90s WWF tag team The Bodydonnas. Who could forget those bright blue singlets, that bleached blonde hair and, erm, Sunny?

The Bodydonnas aren't exactly a Hall of Fame calibre tag team or anything, but Pritchard and Chris Candido were a solid unit and had some really good matches against teams like The Smoking Gunns. Before he was a Bodydonna, Pritchard had a good run in Continental Wrestling, the USWA and Smoky Mountain Wrestling.

Once Candido left the WWF in the fall of 1996, Pritchard basically became a dark match jobber before transitioning into a role as a trainer. It was Pritchard that was tasked with helping get the likes of Kurt Angle and Mark Henry ready for the big time and it was a job he did very well by all accounts.

Pritchard worked as a trainer - as well as the co-host of internet show Byte This - until his release in 2004. He worked the independent circuit and hosted seminars until WWE brought him back again in 2007 to oversee training at Deep South Wrestling.

'Dr. Tom' was controversially replaced by Bill Demott in 2012 and has since returned to the indies and doing seminars. Anyone looking to learn about the business would do well to attend one. Despite never being a major star in the industry, the Pasadena, Texas native is well-respected as a worker and teacher.
