5. Triple H - King Conan: Crown Of Iron

Remember the time Triple H walked to the ring at WrestleMania 22 for his match against John Cena dressed as Conan the Barbarian? The crown, the armor, the fur loincloth and shawl, the...medieval bottle of water? Well, apparently this wasn't just a random wardrobe change, but was intended as a nod at Hunter's purported role in a new Conan film. Hunter, who is friends with the writer and director of the original Conan the Barbarian movie, John Milius, sent him the script for a continuation of the movie franchise, called King Conan: Crown of Iron. The Wachowski brothers (of Matrix fame) were brought in as producers for the project, and Triple H seemed pretty excited about the possibility of stepping into Arnold Schwarzenegger's shoes:
"That's an awesome franchise. I'd love to get involved with it if they want me to. It'd be a thrill. I thought was great. I think John Milius is an incredible writer. He knows how to create characters and storylines. I'd be honored to work with him."
The project was batted around for awhile, but Milius was eventually ousted, leaving King Conan in development hell.
