Previous Record: 4 wins, #27 and #30 New Record: 5 wins, #30

The vaunted #27 slot in the Royal Rumble is no longer the luckiest number to enter from.

Realistically, this has been true for a long time, as no one had won a Rumble from #27 since 2001, but it was always a fun stat for the announcers to trot out whenever someone made their way out at that number.

Instead, the last entry into the Rumble, #30, has surpassed all others as the best number, with Cody Rhodes’ victory marking the fifth win from that spot. It also was the second straight win for a #30 entrant and the third win in eight years for #30.

It’s worth noting that Rhea Ripley’s Rumble win from #1 was the fourth time the first entrant has won the match (three other men have won their Rumbles), thus tying #27 if we’re counting across the men’s and women’s Rumbles.
