Ultimately, I think every wrestling fan who watched this week's reveal will have accessed a dark corner of their brain - a corner that simply says 'Jordan vs. Angle'.
Yes, the pair shared an emotional embrace in the middle of the ring, but does anybody suspect the former tag champ of foul play? Jason could well be using Angle, playing upon the Olympian's babyface honesty to weasel his way up the card - only to turn on his 'father' and reveal that the entire thing was a hoax, once he's ascended far enough.
This would naturally lead to a match between the pair, if Kurt was cleared to wrestle, and the culmination of a storyline that represents all the drama professional wrestling can bring. I unashamedly want this to happen.
