8 People Who Went Into WWE Hall Of Fame For The Wrong Reasons
3. 'Macho Man' Randy Savage's Induction Feels So Late It's Inauthentic
Macho is going in the WWE Hall of Fame, class of 2015 because of Stone Cold Steve Austin's question on the WWE Network podcast show in December. No other reason. This is desperately bad on WWE's part, who had put off Madness' induction for far too long. Austin brilliantly put Vince McMahon on the spot during the show, asking him straight up if Macho was going to take his rightful place in the hall. Vince, who seemed to be rather taken a back by the question, said yes. And here we are, with Savage the 'semi-main' event of the ceremony. You don't need me to tell you how much of an iconic figure the Macho Man is in the professional wrestling business, he is one of the first names that is deserved of a place in the Hall. Ridiculous rumours of a sexual nature surrounding Stephanie McMahon are presumably why he hasn't been inducted until now. It's good to see Vince is finally seeing past any personal problems to celebrate the career of one of his biggest ever stars.
