The promotion that, without question, makes the most sense for Del Rio is Bellator MMA. There awaits a big contract (Bellator is backed by Viacom, who own Spike TV, MTV and others), a weak heavyweight division, and a potential blockbuster matchup with Bobby Lashley. Not to mention massive exposure on Spike TV. Bellator is also fine with its fighters moonlighting in wrestling and kickboxing, meaning that Del Rio would have no issue continuing to work with AAA, ROH, and Lucha Underground if he so wished. Not to mention that in the promotion, the world's second biggest MMA outfit, he would actually have a shot at relevance with just a couple of wins at heavyweight.
