Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar had an extremely entertaining feud through the summer of 2017, one that can be considered the making of Joe on the main roster. Many expected the Samoan Submission Machine to be fed to Lesnar and little more, but the first ever two-time NXT Champion more than held his own throughout the beef.

Joe is unlikely to return until after WrestleMania 34, and this presents the perfect chance to throw him right back into the deep end. Much like a potential feud between Lesnar and Bray Wyatt, Brock doesn’t need to be physically involved for the majority of the feud. Joe and Paul Heyman displayed fantastic chemistry on the microphone last summer, and that could easily be picked up again.

Better still, Joe could be the man to convince Heyman to turn on Brock again after all these years. This is unlikely, as Lesnar is an infinitely better character with the Evil Genius by his side, but stranger things have happened in WWE. Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar have a great match in them, and they deserve another chance to have it in 2018.
