8 Questions That WWE Fans Will Inevitably Ask Themselves

1. Why Do I Keep Watching This Garbage?

There seems to be diminishing returns on being a WWE fan these days. With HHH actually admitting that the company have no idea how to stop the rot with their own product, and with incredibly short-sighted storytelling being the new Vince McMahon way, the product can seem pretty bleak at times. What is particularly frustrating is that there is an abundance of talent out there, the depths of which I think are unparalleled, at least in my lifetime. But given the lacklustre state of the product over the past few years, there is no doubt that all of us at some point have just put our heads in our hands and asked ourselves why we even bother. The answer is complex and it€™s different for everyone. I personally have no single idea why it is that I always return to watching WWE. I guess one of the main reasons is that the love for this art form has never truly died. I might get frustrated with the litany of dumb decisions made on your average episode of Raw, but that doesn't mean that I don't have the most incredible respect for even your most average jobber on the card. When you consider that WWE talent have to memorise scripts, perform the scripts live, work out like demons while on the road, and then put on a performance in which they are meant to look like they are hurting someone (but, in fact, are going out of their way to make sure they don't hurt anyone) then, frankly ,there is something wrong with you if you're not amazed by them. It€™s just that, no matter how amazed you continue to be by what the talent can do, you still have to wonder if it€™s entirely worth it. I€™ll be around for a while yet€I just might be asking myself a few more times why exactly it is that I€™m around, that's all.
