7. Scott Steiner Vs. DDP

At first, this seems like even more of a mismatch outside of the ring in a real fight. Diamond Dallas Page is not only a few years Steiner's senior, but he's also got about half the muscle. But, according to the various reports coming out of this backstage brawl, it appears that Big Poppa Pump's pythons are purely for show.

The rumor surrounding this one involves DDP's then-wife Kimberly finding some drug paraphernalia in the locker room and telling WWE management that it belonged to known (albeit recovering) user, Tammy Lynn Sytch. This didn't sit well with Steiner, who responded with some not-so-pleasant words about Kimberly. And because this is a business where image is everything, the two men eventually had it out.

Some reports say that Steiner was all over Page, "destroying him," and was about *this* close to taking out one of his eyes before the fight was broken up. But if you believe interviews DDP has given since, the situation favored Page, with him somehow getting the bigger man in a guillotine choke.

DDP plays it cool in his retelling, though, saying he was "blown away that I had him, it was like a surreal moment." And that when he started punching Steiner in the face, "it was like hitting a rock." Even in his generous recitation, Page acknowledges that he nearly lost an eye. "I realize, holy f*ck, he's trying to rip my eye out. Another surreal moment. That would suck!" That's putting it mildly.
