8 Real WWE Fights That Surpassed Anything You Saw In The Ring

6. Batista Vs. Booker T

Both Dave Bautista and Booker Huffman grew up in pretty rough conditions, and both men were no strangers to violence in their youthful days. The main difference between the two is that one knew how to keep his ego in check and the other...was Dave Bautista. During Batista's swift rise up the ranks of the WWE, he became known in the back as a disrespectful, egotistical douche to the majority of the roster, including some that had worked in the business for longer than he'd been alive. Booker T took exception to this during a commercial shoot for Summerslam 2006.

While it's not known exactly what sparked the fight, those who witnessed it said the overall argument lasted for about five minutes until Booker finally directed Batista to go into an empty room to "go for it." The two men went in and immediately went at it hard. Batista apparently caught a couple of lucky sucker-punches on the former G.I. Bro but, other than that, this fight had a clear winner in Booker T, who proved that he was the more adept street fighter.

Still, both men were left visibly cut up and bruised, which you could see in their ensuing matches. To this day, Batista swears that it was all a misunderstanding and that he never disrespected anyone, telling WWE.com after the incident, "I am not a prick!" Booker remembers it differently, but says that the air is clear between them now, saying "It was about respect. Even to this day, I respect him and I'm sure he respects me."
