8 Real WWE Fights That Surpassed Anything You Saw In The Ring

3. Eddie Guerrero Vs. Kurt Angle

In what may have been considered the ultimate America vs. Mexico showdown, Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero had a pretty solid feud way back when, one that was ultimately derailed due to a combination of Eddie's drug use and a concussion that he still hadn't quite recovered from. It all depends on who you ask, which tends to be the case more often than not in these backstage brawls. But after a few particularly disappointing matches (including a disastrous Lumberjack match in which Eddie refused to cooperate, pretty much refusing to engage with Angle or the designated lumberjacks for the match), Kurt Angle got fed up and started a shoving match with Latino Heat.

According to Angle, words were exchanged between the two about who was to blame for the noticeable dip in quality. And then Eddie tried to take him down by the legs using, go figure, an Olympic style move known as a leg dive. Of course, being an Olympic Gold Medalist, Angle had an idea on how to counter such moves and wound up putting him in a front headlock. Big Show and John Laurinaitis got in there to pull them off each other, which Angle admits was a good thing, because the situation could have escalated even more.

JBL also added a little something to this story, saying that when he asked Eddie why in the hell he'd try to perform an Olympic style takedown on Kurt Angle of all people, Eddie didn't hesitate to respond, shouting "Because I'm stupid!"
