3. There's Nothing Left For The Undertaker To Do
The Undertaker has done it all, so what's next after Lesnar? Even this is arguably a rehash of their feud from the early 2000s, and while he could be pitted against some of the newer Superstars on the roster, that didn't go so well last time (seriously, do you remember anything from his feud with Bray Wyatt?). Sure, the results might be better with a Finn Balor or Kevin Owens type, but what will it bring to the table that's really new? The other option is to continue to pit the Deadman against more experienced opponents, and while there's definitely some potential there for feuds with John Cena and Sting, do you really want to see the leader of the Cenation topple The Undertaker at WrestleMania or the Phenom and vigilante spending most of their match lying on the mat because they're so exhausted? The Undertaker has done it all, and falling to arguably one of his greatest rivals of all-time in Brock Lesnar would be a hell of a way to go and something which does even more favours for The Beast than the night he conquered The Streak. Of course, if you'd rather he stick around and engage in some sort of meandering feud with Kane as the WWE tried to draw in viewers with the Attitude Era nostalgia card, so be it!
