1. The WWE Needs A New Top Babyface
With John Cena taking at least the next six weeks off (and, if rumours are to be believed, still set to remain in the United States Championship division upon his return) and Randy Orton out with what may be a serious injury, the WWE is really without a top babyface right now. Plus, there's still no word on a possible return to action for Daniel Bryan! That's not to say the company doesn't have any great babyfaces right now of course, but Roman Reigns would definitely be very near the top of a list of those most capable of stepping up. However, in order to become THE top babyface, he needs to have the WWE World Heavyweight Championship around his waist, hence why Survivor Series is the place to make that happen. With that belt and the absence of the big name Superstars listed above, Roman has a rare opportunity to grab the spotlight and solidify himself as the WWE's top babyface, a position which he could then very well hold on to when they return. That would make him one of them rather than someone striving to be like them as was the case going into this year's Royal Rumble. He may not ever have the mic skills of The Rock and John Cena, but Reigns still has the charisma and in-ring ability to find a similar spot on the card in the future, and that should start with Survivor Series.
