8 Reasons Why Bray Wyatt Fans Should Be Optimistic

8. Luke Harper

Luke Harper is the best big man in the company right now. Okay, that's hyperbole, but the man is a star waiting to happen. At the very least, he is a mid to upper card workhorse waiting to happen. Harper missed the majority of 2016 with a serious injury, returning to work at the recent No Mercy pay-per-view alongside Bray Wyatt.

Many were disappointed to see Harper back under Wyatt's wings, but it could very well be the best for both men in the long run. It shows that the creative team still sees value in the Wyatt Family, for one. If Harper had been brought back with no reference to Bray whatsoever one would assume that the men with the pens had given up on the family.

This also keeps alive the eventual possibility of a Bray Wyatt/Luke Harper tag team run or feud. Harper and Wyatt have a strange chemistry, and the fact we've never even seen them come to blows leads me to think there will be an interesting story to tell further down the line. Harper and Bray's eventual break should be great for both men.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
