8 Reasons Why TNA's Closure Would Be A Good Thing

8. TNA Talent Can Move On To Do Better Things

At this point, the TNA talent are probably suspecting that they'll be soon unemployed with the Spike TV deal not being renewed, although Dixie Carter claims there's some kind of new TV deal happening for 2015. It'd be better for most of the roster to be let go as so many of them are capable of greater things and deserve better treatment. Whether they go on to wrestle for the WWE or ROH, whether they go back to the indies, or quit wrestling entirely, anything has to be better than staying in TNA given the past few years. Most TNA contracts and paychecks will be drastically shrinking because Spike TV's money is now off the table, while parent company Panda Energy wants TNA to be self-sufficient and stop losing money. That means most stars will be taking a big hit in their bank accounts if they decide to stay, assuming TNA doesn't release them first. Roster staples Kurt Angle, Sting and AJ Styles all left the company recently, with more releases likely to occur. Given the current state of TNA and the future looking bleak for the company, a timely release might be good for any truly talented members of their roster. From a fan viewpoint it's a positive, as it'd be great to see Beer Money and other former TNA stars in promotions were they would be utilized properly.
