8 Reasons WWE SummerSlam Will Be Better Than WrestleMania 31

4. Roman Reigns Is Away From The Title Match

Without being too harsh on Roman Reigns, it's absolutely the right decision to keep him away from the WWE Championship for the time being. He was the main reason for the constant negativity surrounding WrestleMania 31's build-up, with fans swearing mutiny in the event of a title win for Vince McMahon's rumoured golden boy. Seth Rollins' shocking Money In The Bank cash-in was reportedly a late decision, the WWE's response to mounting pressure from their angry fanbase. SummerSlam, in contrast, has been allowed to build without such scrutiny and frustration, with Reigns himself slotting nicely into a potentially show-stealing midcard match. He and Ambrose will square off against Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper which - if the Elimination Chamber 2014 match between the Shield and the Wyatt Family is anything to go by - might well be the boost Roman needs to restore his credibility in the eyes of many fans.
