8 Reasons WWE SummerSlam Will Be Better Than WrestleMania 31

2. A Better Location

WrestleMania 31 took place in Levi's Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, and an unquestionably unique setting. The PPV looked and felt huge, the atmosphere of the stadium translating well onto the small screen. Its unique outdoor setting also made the show one of a select few WrestleManias to be held (at least partially) in daylight. Even when taking all this into account, SummerSlam's location gives it the edge. Brooklyn's Barclays Center will ensure a rabid (and admittedly critical) audience, providing an edge 'Mania perhaps lacked due to its melting-pot atmosphere. Cena is probably going to get booed, a lot - but why is this a good thing? As history has proven, John Cena knows how to save his best for an extremely negative arena. His matches against Edge in Toronto, RVD at the Hammerstein Ballroom, and CM Punk in Chicago were all made great by a combination of fantastic wrestling, dramatic storytelling, and a Cena-hating crowd. Hopefully SummerSlam 2015 follows the trend.
