8 Reasons WWE SummerSlam Will Be Better Than WrestleMania 31

1. A True Marquee Match

WrestleMania 31's big, legend vs legend match, quickly devolved into farce. As soon as Degeneration-X ran down to help out Triple H, and the nWo bafflingly came out to help Sting (their mortal enemy for much of WCW's history), the bout ceased to mean anything. It was an angle, an overly manufactured "moment", and - as mentioned previously - an excuse to once again put the WWE over WCW. SummerSlam could have 'Mania trumped in this regard. Sure, its main event is a rehash of WrestleMania 30, but there's every chance that Lesnar and Taker could get it right second time around. Their 'Mania bout was weakened by a laboured performance on the part of Undertaker - amid rumours of a concussion sustained early in the match - but saved by its shocking conclusion. Now Brock and the Deadman have a chance to redeem themselves. Should they do so, the pair could have one of the most talked-about matches of 2015. Hopefully for the right reasons.
