Not that he’d want to take the spotlight or credit from the wrestlers themselves but he was instrumental in transforming the Divas Division of old into a credible women’s roster boasting some of the company’s biggest draws.
AEW’s own women’s division has shown signs of improvement but they could still use a trainer of Finlay’s experience to help their less polished workers.
While Kenny Omega champions Joshi wrestlers, he’s also AEW tag team champ and one of the company’s biggest singles stars. AEW could use an advocate for women’s wrestling without so many other priorities.
