8 Soccer Teams You Didn't Know WWE Superstars Supported
6. Fandango (Everton)
When a bunch of drunk Englishmen went over to the United States for the Wrestlemania 29 weekend, they were greeted with a bland, mediocre show. As a result, it's hardly surprising the ones that remained for Monday Night Raw the following night decided to make their weekend memorable in their own right, completely re-writing the script for Raw and inspiring one of the most hilarious matches (Sheamus vs Randy Orton) in recent memory. Then there was Fandango. Vince's new little pet push destined to last no more than a few weeks. In the week following that Monday Raw when WWE (through gritted teeth!) began to push Fandango-ing, an embarrassing shuffle of a dance move more suited to baboons than people, Everton FC decided to capitalise by playing the theme music over their loudspeakers at the following Saturday's match. As a result, Curt Hussey himself decided to pay a visit to Goodison Park, being pictured in the kit, with ex-manager David Moyes. Apparently, those two were tight. Perhaps he could've advised Moyes to Fandango away from the United job whilst he still had the chance.
Betting on being a brilliant brother to Bodhi since 2008 (-1 Asian Handicap). Find me @LiamJJohnson on Twitter where you might find some wonderful pearls of wisdom in a stout cocktail of profanity, football discussion and general musings. Or you might not. Depends how red my eyes are.
