8 Soccer Teams You Didn't Know WWE Superstars Supported

1. Wade Barrett (Preston North End)

There's really no other that could take the top spot other than Wade €œBad News€ Barrett, alike Neville, born and bred is his announced town of Preston, England and a huge supporter of PNE. Barrett, friends with many of the back room coaching staff and some of the players at the club, frequently tweets his support for his team and has visited the stadium on many occasions as a superstar, the same way he used to as a young boy. Barrett has become synonymous with the British football culture in WWE, frequently inspiring €œOle, Ole, Ole€ chants from the fans (which have since migrated to Sami Zayn, somehow!) and even a €œWade Barrett's barmy army!€ chant the night after Wrestlemania 30 in New Orleans this year. It's a real shame Barrett's career has been riddled with injuries thus far because, considering the growing influence of the British fan in WWE's Universe, if he could stay fit they could have a huge draw on their hands. Frankly, it's surprising yet that they haven't released a football shirt style piece of merchandise for Barrett because that, combined with a decent run without injury in WWE's program, could generate some pretty decent dollar in the British market.
