8 Steps To Booking WCW One Night Stand

1. Goldberg, Sting, Diamond Dallas Page & Hulk Hogan With Ric Flair Vs. Kevin Nash, Big Show, Syxx & Chris Jericho With Scott Hall

Wargames? A nice thought for a WCW reunion. The main event would be an eight man tag match because it would probably be too much to ask for every match to be singles and expect these guys to go long. By working a tag, they can get in and out of the ring quickly so the fresh guy can go on. The eight man main event is a nice tribute to Wargames whether they used the two rings with the cage or not. On the face side it would be Goldberg and Sting as two of the most beloved WCW legends. Goldberg hasn't wrestled in over a decade while Sting is in his mid-50s, but they are both in good enough shape to make it work. DDP stays in good shape. Hulk Hogan could be in the match too although he wouldn't have to do much except get the hot tag at the end and hit his signature spots. For the heels, Kevin Nash keeps in great shape even though he's in his 50s. Look at his Twitter. The man is ripped. Jericho's key to the match because he would be in there doing most of the work as a guy in his mid-40s that is still pretty active. Big Show is also active, so he should be on the heel side. Syxx aka Sean Waltman still wrestles in the indies. Scott Hall can fit the manager's role since he's retired. The promos building up to something like this would be a lot of fun just because most of them can talk really well. Plus, the star power is immense. It would be a fun match where the babyfaces get the big win. If they wanted to have everybody shake hands and hug at the end of it that wouldn't be a bad idea either. Putting a bunch of stars in the main event is the right way to go about it rather than having a singles match go on last. There's a lot of potential in a WCW reunion show. Other TV shows do it a lot. Why not them? Ten years ago would have been better, but they could still do it now before it's too late.
