That police storyline (finally) started moving forward in Season 3, as Cage's murder of LA City Councilman Delgado brought the gauntlet to the Chief's attention. Catrina promised to deliver it to her, but failed when King Cuerno returned at Ultima Lucha Tres and stole it for himself.

The unexpected familial connection between Catrina and the Chief made Lucha Underground's timeline even more confusing. Is the Chief also suspended in time?
