The Blue World Order started off as a one night joke designed to pop the boys backstage at the 1996 November to Remember.

Designed as a send-up of the ultra popular New World Order of WCW, Stevie Richards was 'Big Stevie Cool' (Nash), Mike 'Nova' Bucci was 'Hollywood Nova' (Hogan) and The Blue Money was 'Da Blue Guy' (Hall).

The trio had been parodying those in wrestling for months, but there was something about the bWo that just struck a chord with fans. It was instantly popular and actually helped Richards climb up the card toward the main event.

The group disbanded in July of '97 but made a comeback at the 2005 One Night Stand pay-per-view, with Joey Styles barking on commentary that 'If any gimmick never deserved to make a dime and made a boatload of cash, this is it!'.

The group made a few more appearances on WWE television, including a six-man tag against the Mexicools at the Great American Bash, before riding off into the sunset on their three-wheelers.

These days, the Order reunite every now and then for independent shows and conventions where the gimmick is still very popular. It's twenty years since they formed as a throwaway gag but they're still taking over...
