8 Tag Teams That Deserve One More WWE Run
2. The World's Greatest Tag Team
Even when some tag teams appear to be on the cusp of greatness, WWE will break them up prematurely, and that was certainly the case with The World's Greatness Tag Team. Pairing them with Kurt Angle at the onset of 2003 seemed to be the perfect fit, but it wasn't long before they were forced to go their separate ways.
In that short span of time, however, they won the WWE Tag Team Championship on multiple occasions and contested classes with almost every tandem they did battle with. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas had a chemistry like no one else, and thus it was no wonder they reunited another three more times in the years that followed, including a lengthy and fruitful run in Ring of Honor.
Before Benjamin's comeback to the company over the summer was delayed due to shoulder surgery, fans were excited over the idea of him bringing Haas back into the fold as well for a potential series of matches with American Alpha.
Haas' wrestling schedule has been largely limited since he announced his semi-retirement from wrestling back in 2013, but perhaps for the right amount of money, he would consider coming back for just one more run.
