8 Talented Young Wrestlers Who Were Screwed By WCW's Demise
3. Mark Jindrak
Mark Jindrak was another talented wrestler that WCW trained at their Powerplant. He was 23 years old when he debuted on WCW TV in 2000 and as a natural athlete that stood at 6'6" and 265 pounds he looked like he belonged in wrestling. It seemed like a no brainer for WWE to pick him up after they bought WCW. He was young, had the right kind of body for wrestling and was very athletic. His problem was he didn't have a strong personality. Promos seemed difficult for him. It's one thing to look like a star, but if you don't have the confidence when you speak the fans aren't going to believe in you when you're in that ring doing your thing. He spent four years in WWE bouncing around doing different things as WWE tried to make it work with him. His big break would have been as part of the Evolution stable. They even shot videos with him in the group, but he was replaced by Batista before they made it as TV regulars. Whatever WWE tried with him after that just didn't work. He was paired up with Kurt Angle and Luther Reigns at one point. They just didn't fit well together. Jindrak has had some success post WWE working for Lucha Libre USA and CMLL as Marco Corleone, but he likely would have been a bigger star if WCW lasted longer than it did.
