2. The Young Bucks

Speak of the devils.

This is a bit of a cheat entry, truth be told, because there's no way in hell Matt and Nick Jackson won't be booked in this AEW Tag-Team Title tourney. They're both higher-ups in the company, and they've been making waves outside it for years in Japan and Ring Of Honor.

This past March, The Bucks beat The Lucha Bros in Mexico to win the AAA Tag belts before losing them on 16 June back to Fénix and Pentagón Jr. By all accounts, that rematch was a fun one, and it could lead to another chapter in AEW's tournament. Would anyone complain? The answer: no, no they wouldn't.

There will likely be cries of nepotism if Nick and Matt win the entire tournament and the new AEW Tag Titles, so maybe they'll exit at the semi final or final stage and give someone new the chance. Or, and here's a tasty thought, perhaps they'll let emotion take centre stage and give an old war horse one last hurrah.
