8 Teams That Were Stupidly Split Up In WWE Drafts

5. Deuce And Domino

In retrospect, it's quite amazing that Deuce and Domino lasted as long as they did and were as successful as they were given their goofy gimmick.

Still, their talent in the ring was undeniable (at least in the case of Domino), and the potential was always there for them to be more than what they were. That could have happened had they stuck together for longer than two years and not been split up in the 2008 WWE Draft.

They had already formally broken up on SmackDown at that point having already won the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown, but it couldn't have been more apparent that WWE had no plans for any of them on their own. That includes their manager Cherry, who also floundered once they all went their separate ways.

Not only were Domino and Cherry released from their contracts in late 2008, Deuce was also let go the subsequent summer. To the company's credit, they tried with Deuce a.k.a. Sim Snuka in late 2008 by testing the waters with him as a singles star and linking up with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, but he stuck out like a sore thumb and was booted soon after.

At a time when WWE was splitting up tag teams left and right, Deuce and Domino could have helped out the Raw tag team division instead of being broken up and released.
