8 Teams That Were Stupidly Split Up In WWE Drafts

6. The Riott Squad

For a faction that was never meant to last long, The Riott Squad reached a level of popularity the company likely never expected them to. Their entire run together consisted of them serving as stepping stones for Superstars such as Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, Sasha Banks and Bayley, and yet, they made the most of every situation they were in.

Despite losing more than they won, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan were fixtures on SmackDown and Raw from 2017 through 2019. The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship was created for a team exactly like them, but they were broken up before they had a chance to hold them.

Their split occurred in April 2019 when Morgan was sent to SmackDown in the Superstar Shake-Up. With Riott undergoing surgery for an injured shoulder, Logan was forced to fly solo on Raw. That left all of them in limbo without much to do on their respective shows. Even Riott failed to get going again once she eventually returned to the ring in early 2020.

By the time WWE decided to put The Riott Squad back together in the summer of 2020, Logan had already been released. Riott and Morgan resurrected the group by themselves until Riott was also released the subsequent summer.
