Few on the Payback card need a victory as much as Dean Ambrose.

The Lunatic Fringe has definitely fallen down the card since losing to Brock Lesnar in WrestleMania 32's most underwhelming match (main event aside), and while a feud with Chris Jericho isn't exactly disaster territory, there's no question that Dean's stock has dropped.

The best case scenario is a good match, ending in a clean Ambrose win, before elevating back up the card once more with a more meaningful opponent.

He may be one of the most charismatic, beloved babyfaces on the roster, but placing Dean in a 'talk show vs. talk show' feud isn't the best use of his talent at all.
