8 Things We Learned From Ryback On Talk Is Jericho

1. Favorite Match

Chris Jericho likes to end his podcast interviews with wrestlers by asking them about their favorite matches, and this one was no different as he prodded The Big Guy to name his top in-ring bouts that he was a part of. The two moments that come to mind for him is the Hell in a Cell main event vs. CM Punk, because it was such a high pressure situation with him replacing John Cena and how much faith the company was putting in him. He said that Triple H pulled him aside right before the match and told him that he was ready and he deserved it, and that cemented his confidence. Secondly was his return match against Bo Dallas, not for the match itself, which was a squash, but for the welcoming reaction of the crowd. He followed the match up with a backstage promo that he received accolades for and he holds this moment as a reaffirmation of all his hard work and a confidence booster that he's used to get back on track. For anyone who's been on the fence about Ryback as a performer, it's hard to listen to this interview and not come away with a real respect for the man behind the character, Check out the interview at http://podcastone.com/Talk-Is-Jericho
