8 Things To Watch For At WWE NXT (R)Evolution

7. Corbin And Dempsey Continue Destructive Rivalry

Every promotion at one point or another has a wrestler who plows through jobbers and other low-level talent, amassing an impressive winning streak and hopefully gaining enough steam to become a player. WWE currently has Rusev running roughshod over superstars. In NXT, there are two forces making waves, Bull Dempsey and Baron Corbin. Both have been knocking off jobbers for a while now. A few weeks ago on NXT, Dempsey and Corbin crossed paths on the entrance ramp, as Corbin trounced an opponent in less than 30 seconds and was heading to the back. Dempsey barreled right past him and demolished his opponent in about a minute. This then repeated itself last week. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTibRt0v22Q It seems that NXT is building to one of two things (or possibly both): a tag team or an old-fashioned butting of the heads. It€™s far more likely that Dempsey and Corbin will decide that NXT isn€™t big enough and doesn€™t have enough ham-and-eggers for two monsters. We could soon see one fed to the other (likely Dempsey sacrificed to Corbin) to boost the other. Expect that angle to continue Thursday.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
