8 Things To Watch For At WWE NXT (R)Evolution

2. Who€™s Next? Zayn Or Neville?

The NXT Championship match is a battle between two ring veterans who plied their trade in various promotions around the globe. While it€™s being presented as a €œroad to redemption€ for Sami Zayn (who€™s put his NXT career on the line), it really could serve as a last hurrah in NXT for both he and champ Adrian Neville. Neville is now the longest-reigning NXT Champion in the promotion€™s brief history, at nine-plus months. Zayn had what many thought was a WWE career-defining match with Cesaro earlier this year and has been playing the hard-luck almost-was for some time now. Both men really have reached a point where they can€™t go much further in NXT €“ there€™s really nothing left to prove. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45NVYRh7br0 If Zayn wins the title, that could mean that Neville is on his way to the main roster soon. Each of the previous three champs (Seth Rollins, Big E and Bo Dallas) has made their way to WWE either during or right after their title reigns. If Neville defends, Zayn supposedly will leave NXT, which would be a terrible way to try to move him to WWE. So the logical step is for Zayn to win, but even then, he could be a short-term champ as both wrestlers finally get the call to join the main roster.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
