8 Things To Watch For At WWE NXT (R)Evolution

1. Stealing The Show

Given the lineup that is shaping up and NXT€™s no-nonsense approach toward its special events, (R)Evolution could be the best PPV/event WWE puts out in the last quarter of 2014. Zayn and Neville will no doubt try to tear the house down and both tag matches should deliver as well. Throw in a solid women€™s championship match and a couple entertaining squashes from Baron Corbin and Bull Dempsey and you have a recipe for a well-paced, enjoyable two hours. This bears the question(s): If NXT does deliver on Thursday, does that raise the bar for TLC on Sunday? Will WWE superstars step up their game? Or will they treat it like a minor league game that has no effect on them? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8jiCLrVXoE After seeing the impact that former NXT talent (the Shield, Wyatt Family, Paige etc.) have had on WWE, wrestlers on the main roster would be well-served to watch the newest crop of potential call-ups closely €“ and then go out and perform at TLC.

Scott is a former journalist and longtime wrestling fan who was smart enough to abandon WCW during the Monday Night Wars the same time as the Radicalz. He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
