AJ wanted to know from Shawn and Kevin if at any point either of them were bothered by the way he and the rest of The Bullet Club adopted The Kliq and The nWo’s “Too Sweet” hand sign.

Shawn said he was always curious what it was about it that made them think it was neat and how it came into play when the New Japan group decided to adopt it into their act.

AJ credits Finn Bálor and Karl Anderson as the ones who decided to incorporate it, stemming from them all being huge fans of the nWo. They were worried that people would think they were just trying too hard to rip them off, but surprisingly it caught it on and they made it cool again - a fact HBK thinks is awesome.

Michaels stated he and the other guys in their group didn’t think that far ahead to assume they’d influence any future generations – while Kevin adds that they were too busy getting heat – and Shawn said the entire Bullet Club seem to be nice young men so he’s surprised and flattered by their influence over them.

Kevin said in his opinion, he saw a young group of extremely talented stars that were emulating something they did, and he had no problem handing it down to top guys. He did add that he would probably feel differently if the group had been a bunch of scrubs - but luckily for all parties, that wasn't the case.

AJ wanted to know where the hand sign originated from, and they both name Sean Waltman as the one to come up with it. Nash said The 1-2-3 Kid was in a bar somewhere in Europe and saw an alleged member of the Turkish Mafia do the sign, and after that they worked it into their act, with it slowly catching on.

The episode wrapped up with Nash and Michaels extolling the skills of AJ Styles, noting how pleased they are that he's reached the level he has, something they feel was long overdue.

This was one of the better episodes of Table For 3; the blending of generations made for some interesting conversation. It was also rewarding to get the inside scoop from the performers themselves on the dream match we all wanted - including Vince McMahon - but were unfortunately never that close to getting.
