Table For 3 is one of the more hit-or-miss pieces of WWE Network original content. There have been 20 episodes thus far, and while a good number feature light-hearted tales from the careers of past and present talents, quite a few of them are monotonous and rather pointless.

It's only when the stars really loosen up and forget the cameras are rolling that we get a true glimpse into the personalities of the men and women of the industry.

AJ Styles is someone who has made the most of every media opportunity he's been given since joining WWE in early 2016, from appearances on The Stone Cold Podcast to Talking Smack, and his recent stint on this show was no different.

On the latest installment of Table For 3 - titled "Common Bonds" - 'The Phenomenal One' got the chance to sit down with Kevin Nash and the man many fans were pining to see him wrestle at either this year's Royal Rumble or WrestleMania: Shawn Michaels. While we weren't gifted such a potentially amazing match, what we did get from this episode was an explanation from Shawn why it was never really something he considered, despite his tremendous respect and admiration for Styles as a worker.

8. Being Shocked The First Time You Hear HBK Speak

The trio began breaking the ice by discussing how astonishing it is that Shawn Michaels’ deep commanding voice emanates from such a non-imposing physical specimen, and Nash asked AJ if that surprised him the first time the two met.

He replied that southern accents possess a certain twang and feels like if he could harness his the way HBK does, he could lose the speaking cadence that he gets ragged on for, whilst wondering if Shawn does it on purpose. Michaels responded that he doesn’t, leading into Nash sharing a story of the first time the two met in person.

They were in Albany, New York and when Nash introduced himself he was totally taken aback by the much smaller man’s voice, referring to it as a great initial impression.

Perhaps the most impressive talent HBK possesses is the ability to seamlessly transition from the rambling uncomfortable public speaker that is Michael Hickenbottom into the charismatic, smooth-talking character of Shawn Michaels
