8 Things We Learned From Kane On The Ross Report

3. He Wrestled Sting In WCW Before Joining WWE

Which is the poorer name, Isaac Yankem D.D.S or Bruiser Mastino? If you don't recognise the latter, that's because it actually happened in WCW during a short-lived run for Glenn Jacobs in 1993. Wrestling as Bruiser, the future Kane jobbed to Sting on the 6 March episode of Saturday Night.

It's crazy to think that this is the closest we'll ever come to seeing Sting vs. The Undertaker. Although tenuous and under much different circumstances, Jacobs would go on to become 'Taker's storyline brother years later in the WWF, so there's a link there. Curse you for not making that dream match happen when it was possible, WWE.

Jacobs touched on his WCW experience during the JR interview. Even though it was a short run, he seemed to enjoy his time in the company and gained some valuable experience working with guys like Sting. Looking at Jacobs during the match and how well he performed, it's actually surprising WCW didn't do more with him.
