8 Things We Learned From The WrestleMania Go-Home Smackdown Live! (March 28)

1. Harsh Reality

Maryse The Miz
WWE

After another outstanding Total Bellas parody video, John Cena was excellent again in dousing Miz' flames with yet more cutting remarks at the 'A-Lister' and his wife.

Miz and Cena have lobbed atomic bombs at one another for weeks now, with seemingly no subject deemed too near-the-knuckle to exploit for the benefit of the angle.

Helpfully, both are incredibly over, and alongside their partners will likely put on an impressive outing at WrestleMania.

For the first time, the angle dragged in Daniel Bryan, who has waged an ongoing war with Miz himself for several months. A possible run-in from the General Manager may be the payoff the two have long been looking for in their fiery war of words.

Maryse and Nikki's placement in the match should not be underestimated also, with the Bella twin showing remarkable chops in the division for the past two years, and Maryse a serviceable WWE Divas Champion in a past life with the company.

As the contest builds to the inevitable proposal from John to Nikki, the result itself is still in doubt, with Cena set to disappear again after the 'Show of Shows' and Miz on the best run of his career since the last time he won the WWE Title over seven years ago.
