5. Plans For The Tag Division On AEW TV

In most of his previous media engagements and interviews, Khan has been unequivocal about the upstart promotion's huge plans to revive tag-team wrestling to the sort of standard and prestige it enjoyed during its 1980s heydey.

The AEW President was relatively mum on many of the details about their big TNT debut this autumn, but he did unfurl one particular bagged cat with regards to their tag team plans. Apparently, AEW Nitr... er, Untitled's launch will focus on a huge tournament to determine a champion in the double's division - with teams competing for first-round byes on shows leading up to the premiere.

Khan once more emphasised that in the The Young Bucks and The Lucha Brothers, AEW already has two of the best tag teams of all time amongst their ranks - and that they plan to grow that into something truly special.
