8 Things We Learned From Tony Khan On The Steve Austin Show

6. Christopher Daniels' Role In AEW

Industry veteran Christopher Daniels enjoyed the distinct privilege of competing in the first ever AEW match on pay-per-view - if we discount the free pre-show - joining SoCal Uncensored pals Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky as they defeated OWE trio Cima, T-Hawk and El Lindaman.

Though The Fallen Angel earned his spot on the card as a reward for two decades' graft in the industry, his role in All Elite is far from sentimental. Khan told Austin that Daniels isn't just a valuable veteran on the roster, commenting that a lot of people don't realise just how important the erstwhile Ring Of Honor champion is to the company, acting as their head of Talent Relations.

He concluded by echoing the widely held opinion in the business that Daniels is an "incredible person" and a "great guy".

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
