8 Things We Learned From Tyler Breeze On The Sam Roberts Show

7. How He Feels About His Role

Roberts probes Tyler on how he feels about his current role in NXT, stating that from his perspective Breeze is being used as a guy who the promotion can depend on for good matches and put the spotlight on them rather than getting enough time to build himself. He responds that you can look at it from a couple of different perspectives but he prefers to view those things as opportunities. He says he's the only person who has ever gotten to wrestle Jushin "Thunder" Liger in a WWE ring and considers that a great honor. Then he talks a little more about being on the NXT Brooklyn card and what a rush it was to be in there with a legend, and doesn't care what the end result of the match was. He also mentions Apollo Crews and says that he's someone who is fresh to the audience and if he is the person who has the chance to go out there and show what Apollo can do, he takes a lot of pride in that. Tyler says as much as those situations highlight his opponent he thinks it does the same for him, and the fans are aware that every time Tyler Breeze steps inside the ring he'll deliver opining that "It doesn't matter who is across the ring from me, it's going to be a match that you're going to want to see again and again".
