8 Things We Learned From Tyler Breeze On The Sam Roberts Show

4. Breaking Ground Vs. E:60

Sam asks Tyler what he hopes is shown in the Breaking Ground episodes. He wants to know if he wants it to focus more on the physical work, the character development, etc. Breeze replies that his story on the show is going to be a little bit different from other people, and brings up the ESPN E:60 special the channel did on NXT. He said that was filmed at the time when he was debuting the Tyler Breeze character and they caught a lot of the work that was put into transitioning into being Breeze and all the effort that went into having his first match. Where he's at with Breaking Ground, we're going to be digging more into his personal life. We see him advancing his relationship with his girlfriend and mentions that they just bought a house together. He also adds that the two of them adopted a dog that was hanging around the Performance Center. It started following him around and he was concerned because of all the traffic so he checked to see if it had a collar or a chip, and when no one claimed him he took him home. Katie says it sounds like the show is going to be snapshots of him as a real person and he replies that it is, saying moments like the dog encounter are instances that the camera just happened to catch and he's really excited to have the fans get to view them. He's asked if there's any moments that he wishes weren't caught on camera, and he responds that there's a few times during travel when he found himself forgetting that the camera crews were around and having to run everything he said back through his head to make sure it wasn't inappropriate. Sam inquires if he likes the life of reality TV and he replies that it's cool and different, but it definitely takes some getting used to.
