8 Things We Learned From WWE 24: New Orleans

3. Daniel Bryan's Musical Taste

Daniel Bryan's a wrestler's wrestler with an old-school attitude of respect and dedication to the business which would have made him a suitable fit for just about any era. Heck, you can imagine he wouldn't have felt out of place bending bones until sundown amongst the pioneers.

At least, all that's true as far as his predilection for the industry goes. His private persona is one that would have had him booted out of bars around the country just twenty years ago. A vegan environmentalist who doesn't drink? Hide the pool cues.

Take his musical tastes for example. Ahead of his big WrestleMania return, Bryan is caught pacing around backstage with a set of headphones clamped to his head. Is he listening to the typical wrestler's wrestler mix of country music and heavy metal? Nope! It's the soundtrack to award-winning musical Hamilton. Which you have to say, is way better.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
