8. Wherefore Art Thou Strowman, Thou Enzo, Thou Neville et al?

A host of names were conspicuous by their absence last night at WWE Clash of Champions. One month removed from a show-opening tag match at SummerSlam, Enzo and Big Cass were nowhere to be seen, and whether you like them or not (I don't) their presence does tend to give the live crowd something of a lift. Even a brief backstage segment would have added something significant to the show.

No space for a one minute Braun Strowman squash? The big man has somehow become one of the most entertaining parts of the show, or at least his victims have, and a short Strowman segment against a local guy in the kick-off would have been fun.

WWE still seem to have no idea what to do with Neville, either, despite there being a new shiny Cruiserweight Division right in front of their very eyes. The theme for that division even purple, for goodness sake.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
