8 Things WWE Got Wrong At Clash Of Champions 2016

6. Not Opening The Show With The Cruiserweights

The last thing we want is for the new Cruiserweight Division to follow the old X-Division line, but one thing TNA routinely got right was that they opened their big shows with quick Junior Heavyweight sprints. This being the first PPV showcase for the post-Cruiserweight Classic world, opening the show proper with TJ Perkins vs. Brian Kendrick seemed like a real no-brainer.

The match would go on second and (despite a slow start) ended up being as fun as expected. The problem is that those expecting a new dawn for cruisers following the success of the CWC have clearly forgotten Vince McMahon's history of booking the majority of performers who fit that bracket.

Not featuring the first champion on RAW and throwing together a multi-person number one contenders match? Purple theme? We're borderline Divas division here.

I may be pessimistic, but the future doesn't look too bright for 10 competitors getting shoehorned into one segment every Monday night.
