8 Things WWE Must Do At NXT TakeOver: The End

The card already seems ready to knock it out of the park but will the big night deliver?

NXT TakeOver: The End - intriguing title aside - looks set to be one of the strongest shows of the year, main roster fare included. Although no match on the card would be expected to deliver on the same scale as Nakamura vs. Zayn at WrestleMania weekend, the overall line-up could be considered a generally stronger one.

Nakamura vs. Aries, American Alpha vs. The Revival, and the main event cage match could each steal the show - while Asuka vs. Nia Jax and Tye Dillinger vs. the debuting Andrade Almas have the capability to greatly impress as well.

But how do WWE maximise the potential of their latest Network special? Although the wrestlers must - and surely will - deliver in the ring, it's hard to shake the looming sense that this is a major turning point in the story of NXT.

Hopefully we'll look back on it as a step in the right direction, as opposed to the developmental territory's first true misstep.

8. Don't End

More than the card itself, the biggest thing about tonight's show is it's title. NXT TakeOver: The End is (perhaps deliberately) shocking, especially when coupled with Triple H's cryptic promises all week.

Something big is about to go down at Full Sail University, and as exciting this may be, NXT must fulfil one simple condition: don't end.

If 'The End' really does refer to the end of the developmental territory - perhaps due to the upcoming brand split - it would represent a major disappointment for many fans, and a huge step back to strip away such a progressive part of the WWE machine.
