3. His Singles Career In WWE Was A Major Flop
http://youtu.be/8J-i04czVnM The original draft lottery that set up the brand extension took place on the March 25, 2002 edition of Raw. Bubba Ray Dudley was the 7th guy picked by the Raw brand while D-Von Dudley was the 7th guy picked by Smackdown. That meant that they couldn't team up anymore. It ended up being a big mistake. Bubba was booked as a fun loving babyface that was still liked by the fans, but it wasn't the same as when he was with D-Von. As for D-Von, became a preacher on Smackdown. The most significant factoid about that was he had a deacon named Batista that went on to be a big star. By the end 2002 they were back together after reuniting at Survivor Series. When they went their separate ways in TNA, Bubba had a great amount of success as one of the best characters on that show, but during their WWE run they were always better together.
